Brand assets
Logos, colors and type for the David MacIver Loman Foundation. Use them when you're promoting an event with us, partnering on a fundraiser, or writing about our work.
Logos
Two lockups and one mark, each in four color versions. Use SVG wherever you can; it stays sharp at any size. PNGs are provided for tools that don't accept SVG.
Horizontal
The default. Use it wherever it fits. Minimum width: 266px on screen, 1.85 in · 47 mm in print.
Vertical
For narrow or square spaces. Minimum width: 143px on screen, 1 in · 25 mm in print.
Mark
As an avatar or icon, or where the name already appears nearby. Minimum width: 44px on screen, 0.3 in · 8 mm in print.
Using the logo
Clear space
Keep at least 1X clear on every side, where X is the height of the capital letters in DAVID LOMAN. For the mark on its own, keep clear space of at least one-sixth of its width.
Size
The thin ring around the sun is the first detail to disappear as the logo gets smaller. Below a lockup's minimum width, switch to a smaller one.
Backgrounds
Place the logo on a plain brand background. On photographs, choose a calm area with little detail and use the version with the strongest contrast. Don't place it on gold.
Please don't
Stretch, rotate or recolor the logo, add shadows or outlines, retype it in another font, thicken or thin the mark, or set it where it has too little contrast.
Colors
Lead with cream and navy, and use gold sparingly as an accent. On light backgrounds gold is decoration only, never text.

Typography
Both typefaces are free from Google Fonts for print and web. Use sentence case for headings, and keep all caps for short labels. Never retype the logo; use the files above.
